The Chef Patron of Benares Restaurant, Mayfair is one of the most critically acclaimed chefs in Britain; he was the first Indian chef to win a coveted Michelin Star and has received numerous awards and accolades during his career. The appetite for Atul’s unique understanding of Indian flavours in modern British food has since reached global heights with the opening of multiple restaurants across the UK, Europe, UAE and most recently India.
Author of several award winning cookbooks, Atul has been a consultant chef for Marks & Spencer and is a regular guest on several television channels. Atul is continuously on the look out for exciting and innovative projects to add to his portfolio of restaurants. When not busy with one of his various ventures, the chef enjoys spending time at home in London with his wife Deepti and their two young children.
