Galvin’s Chance offers disadvantaged young people industry-led training and opportunities for a front of house career in some of the most prestigious hotels, restaurants and food service management organisations in London. The programme seeks to predominantly target those at risk of crime and offer them a real alternative.

Our proven model engages these young people to acquire the skills they need for sustainable employment and the chance to earn qualifications to build their careers, with ongoing mentoring support available.

Initiated by Chris Galvin, Chef Patron and Fred Sirieix, General Manager of Galvin at Windows in 2009, the programme targets young people aged 18-24 who are at risk from gang culture. The progamme helps those facing various barriers who are not in education or employment.

Our vision is to change and improve lives and empower our Galvin’s Chance graduates to inspire those around them.
