For this edition of Chocs, Russell will delight us with a mixed box of vibrant, intense pistachio marzipan encased in 70% Guanaja and rich salted caramels made with Jivara milk chocolate and Maldon sea salt in a Guanaja shell.

Russell has spent the last twenty years working as a professional chef across the SouthWest, For the last 12 years of this he and his wife Eléna owned and ran Sienna Restaurant in Dorchester Dorset. Here Russell received much critical acclaim including the award of 3 AA Rosettes in 2007 and a Michelin star in 2010 along with a score of 5 in the good food guide. These awards were maintained thereafter. In April 2015 Russell and Eléna ended their time at Sienna as a new venture, Creative About Cuisine, began for Russell.
Russell commented, “Creative about Cuisine is something that has grown out of my time at Sienna restaurant, an amalgamation of all I have learnt and most importantly everything I am passionate about.
I have worked my way up from a position as a commis chef in a 3 -star hotel with a two rosette restaurant to running my own Michelin starred restaurant. A massive learning curve, often challenging, but hugely rewarding, and this is where the journey has led me. Creative About Cuisine is a business that focuses on my consultancy work, writing, demonstrations, teaching, and my photography. I’m also sure there will still be plenty of cooking along the way with guest chef dinners, some pop-ups and who knows maybe another restaurant one day. “
