Chris Harrod is Chef owner of The Whitebrook, a Michelin Star restaurant in the Wye Valley.
Having trained with Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Chris Harrod took over The Whitebrook Restaurant with Rooms with his wife, Kirsty in 2013 and won a Michelin star within 11 months. Since then the restaurant has gained a place in the Good Food Guide Top 50 UK Restaurants, won 4 AA Rosettes, an AA Wine Award for Wales and been named as one of The Sunday Times Travel Top 10 Foodie Hotels.
Chris’s philosophy at The Whitebrook is to source as much of his produce as possible from his doorstep. Every dish from breakfast through to dinner features locally sourced and often foraged ingredients, making the very most that the Wye Valley has to offer.
